Ivy & Roses Community Fund, Inc. is partnering with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity to address housing insecurity. For the the past 4 years, we have joined with Atlanta Women’s Build to support Atlanta Habitat for Humanity builds, donating over $25,000 and contributing more than 100 volunteer hours. In honor of Pi Alpha Omega’s 40th anniversary, we are proud to be the first African American women’s organizations to independently build a Habitat house in Atlanta!

Dear Prospective Sponsor,
Warm greetings from the Ivy & Roses Community Fund, Inc. (IRCF). We are delighted to invite you to sponsor us to build our first Atlanta Habitat for Humanity house. Your financial support in this momentous project will help us address housing in security and create meaningful, lasting change in our community. IRCF is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization established by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated® Pi Alpha Omega Chapter.
This year marks Pi Alpha Omega Chapters’ 40th year serving the Greater Atlanta community through charitable, civic, philanthropic, and direct service programs. To celebrate this milestone anniversary, we will become the first African American sorority in Atlanta, Georgia, to build a Habitat house, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to our city and community.
Our goal is to raise $100,000, of which $80,000 will directly fund the Atlanta Habitat home build, and the remaining $20,000 will support scholarships and program initiatives commemorating Pi Alpha Omega’s 40th anniversary. We have secured$38,000 and are seeking your support to help us raise the remaining $62,000. In appreciation of your generosity, sponsors will receive acknowledgment on our website, guaranteed volunteer slots on Habitat build days, and the opportunity to participate in this transformative community endeavor. Please note that all contributions are 100% tax-deductible.
We are thrilled to embark on this project and hope you will join us. No donation is too small, and we will need many hands to bring this vision to life. We also need sponsors willing to donate lunches for the 50-70 workers and volunteers on build days. Our build dates run from May 3rd to June 28th, and we look forward to your support of the 2025 Ivy and Roses Community Fund Atlanta Habitat Build commemorating Pi Alpha Omega’s 40th anniversary. Thank you in advance for your thoughtful consideration and generosity.
Kindest Regards,
Ashley Harris
